    Abstract

    The present paper reports the first record of predation of the scaled dove (Columbina squammata Lesson, 1831) by red-legged seriema (Cariama cristata Linnaeus, 1766), in the countryside of the municipality of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais, Brazil.
