Marsilea minuta L. (Marsileaceae) is reported for the first time in the Brazilian Amazon. It’s an aquatic fern introduced in Brazil that occurs in anthropogenic environments. The morphological and anatomical characteristics of plants from aquatic and terrestrial environments were described and illustrated.
